THE RACE - THE CONCLUSION

It all comes down to 6:00AM - Saturday 9th August 2025 and within 100 hours after.

By the time the above date comes round we will have entered an epic journey together, we will have shared highs and lows, success and failures we will have discussed, had views and developed what the vision was always supposed to be, an understanding of you, of me and what we can achieve when we come together.

Why The Race Across Scotland? Why 215 miles, its a bit extreme!

In most of the other events I have participated in I did because I was told I couldn't, this one is completely different, this one I entered because I needed to find me, what are my physical and mental limits, how do I adapt me to overcome the hurdles in order to achieve.

I also wanted an event that stirred the intrigue in you, bought questions and what ifs, an event that was engaging that kept people wanting to know more.

It also needed to align in the belief and direction of the vision, there is nothing quite like a running event, the support, encouragement and admiration from so many, competitors, support crews, families, event organisers, the public, you! Could you imagine bring that thought process into business, football into life? What a thought! But why should it remain a thought, why couldn't it become a reality?

Alongside all of the above, I cant wait to meet people, listen to there story, learn why they are participating, what drives them and what it took to get onto the start line.

So that is it in a nut shell, that is why I am participating in this adventure, and what an adventure it will be.
